Nancy Reagan Signed 1983 White House Letter & Franked Envelope

This official 1983 White House response letter from First Lady Nancy Reagan thanks a supporter for their message. Offered with its original franked envelope, the pair is a collectible example of White House correspondence from the Reagan administration.

Signature disclosure: The letter and envelope each bear a Nancy Reagan signature marking. The two markings appear different from one another, but neither has been independently authenticated. Either may be personally hand-signed, autopen-applied, printed, or secretarial; the method and signer have not been confirmed. This set is sold as historical correspondence with unverified signatures, not as two guaranteed personal autographs by Nancy Reagan. No conclusion that either marking is printed or autopen has been established.

Please review the photographs for the letterhead, signature markings, envelope details, and visible condition. A distinctive addition to a collection of First Lady memorabilia, presidential correspondence, or Reagan-era history.

Privacy note: The recipient's name and address have been digitally obscured in the listing photographs for privacy. These details remain present on the original letter and envelope; the physical documents have not been erased or altered for this purpose.

Provenance

This listing comes from a large autograph collection that was assembled primarily during the early years of online autograph trading, with many pieces originally purchased from reputable eBay sellers of the time. The collection was stored in boxes for approximately 10–20+ years before being acquired and sorted. Because of the long storage period and the era in which these items were obtained, many signatures represent earlier or vintage examples of the signer's autograph style. The collection includes a mix of items with original Certificates of Authenticity as well as pieces acquired without paperwork, which is typical of collections built during that period. Any available documentation, purchase notes, or COAs will be included when known. Each item has been individually reviewed and is being offered as part of this larger vintage assortment.

Authenticity & Returns

This letter and envelope are offered as historical correspondence. The signature markings are unverified and are not guaranteed to have been personally hand-signed by Nancy Reagan. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return the item within 30 days of receipt for a full refund. Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received. Your satisfaction is our priority at Northwest Cascade Collectibles.
