1975 Oscars 47th Academy Awards Program Insert Correction Page RARE Godfather II
1975 Oscars — 47th Academy Awards Program Insert Correction Page — Rare Ephemera
A genuinely rare piece of Hollywood history: an original program insert correction page from the 47th Academy Awards ceremony (1975) — the year The Godfather Part II swept the Oscars, winning Best Picture, Best Director (Francis Ford Coppola), Best Supporting Actor (Robert De Niro), and more. This type of correction insert was distributed inside official Oscar programs to address last-minute changes and errors — a behind-the-scenes artifact that most attendees discarded on the night.
Surviving examples of these inserts are extraordinarily scarce. Unlike the programs themselves, which were kept as souvenirs, correction pages were considered disposable. This makes them among the rarest surviving ephemera from any Oscar ceremony, let alone one of the most celebrated nights in Academy Awards history.

Provenance
This item comes from a large autograph and memorabilia collection originally owned by a former autograph business. After the owner's passing, the entire storage unit containing their remaining inventory was purchased by a professional buyer who specializes in full estate and business acquisitions. This piece is part of that collection, and additional items from the same find are available on my site.
